I am grateful that I have been an aunt for over 10 years now. It seems absolutely crazy that these kids are getting so big.

Ry is awesome with the little boys.

Ty is a fish.

Kyle is part super hero.
Mercedes is a princess!
Garrett is a ham!

Charlotte won't stop growing.

Lyla is a busy little girl.

Seth is a goof!

Clara is so sweet.

There are times in life where goals, though important, are placed on the back burner because there are other more pressing things to take care of. In time, life changes so slowly that those goals just stay in the background. Well, I walked right into that trap. Thankfully, we got a wake up call earlier this month. While nothing is changing directly, those goals that were quietly simmering are now remembered and we now can give them the attention they deserve. I don't know how things will turn out, but I know we are heading on the right track.

Meet the newest Patterson!

This weekend we were able to meet Miss Lyla Nicole Patterson! She is just the sweetest little girl. It is so different having a little girl in the family. She's definitely helping calm things down, even just a little bit. We just love this little girl! Doesn't he look so cute holding a baby! A very proud older brother!

If you are on Pintrest especially in early April and October, there are countless quotes from General Conference . One that stood out to me was by Sister Neill F. Marriot. I love this quote, but I felt like the background was lacking. It's rather placid and I just don't think it fits. So, I started thinking about what would fit better. My thoughts ended up on the old Provo Tabernacle.  source I don't really remember it from the various visits to Utah growing up, but I remember five years ago when it caught on fire. Before the fire, it was a useful building. It was used for community events as well as for Stake Conferences.
