How We Got Together

Earlier this year, I made a picture video of how Jonathan and I fell in love. To give some background, we met at the Roseville Single's Ward in 2009. We saw each other at a number of activities and Jonathan quickly realized that he had to date me. I didn't feel the same way. At the end of the State-wide YSA Conference, Jonathan asked for my number. I said I would think about it, but that really meant no. Then he totally backed off and we didn't see as much of each other and he even went back to BYU for the spring semester. While he was gone, I realized that in order to get the guys to start dating in the ward, I needed to say yes when I was asked out. Jonathan came home from BYU and within a few weeks he asked me out on a date. I said yes this time. After that, we started seeing eachother almost every day  and Jonathan even joined my family on a trip to San Diego. I am so grateful that Jonathan didn't give up on me. He is an amazing husband, uncle and one day father.

Happy Mother's Day!

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day with a husband and two moms. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was such a great day! It started when I found these!

Pretty flowers from Jonathan!

I made clutches the day before for my new sisters Mackenzie and Hannah. They totally loved them!

They were so fun to make!
Jonathan and I got our moms flowers.
This was my mom's third arrangement of flowers. Her house now smells like a flower shop.

These are Tammy's flowers.
I even got a present from my mom! It is the same beautiful print of Queen Ester that is in the Bride's Room at the temple.

I love this painting and soon it will hang on our wall!
Jonathan and I are still getting used to having two families to visit for holidays. We timed it just right this time. We ate a delicious dinner made by Hannah with the Nelsons and then dessert with the crazy Patterson gang.

I am so grateful that I now have two wonderful Mothers! I also love all of my sisters and the great examples they are to me. They are amazing women and I hope I can be like them when I grow up.

Here We Go!

So, I thought it was time to start a blog. It's only fitting since I love reading other peoples blogs. To start out I'll share a collage that I made with some of my favorite wedding pictures.

I felt so skilled when I made this.

I am so happy that Jonathan and I are sealed. It has brought so much peace to me to know that I have him forever.
