I am grateful that this morning Jonathan and I were able to take the time to vote. It is amazing to live in a country where average citizens can choose and influence the leaders on a local to national scale. We voted on who we wanted as our mayor, state representative, governor of Texas, and US senator as well as 11 different propositions for our city. These aren't small issues and it is a blessing and responsibility to vote according to our conscience. No matter what the outcome is, I will know that I did my part in guiding my city, county, state, and country down the path that I personally believe is best.
